Brix® – The modular construction system
Brix® takes its name from the fusion of the English word "bricks" with the Latin name of Brescia, "Brixia", the city where the idea was born and developed.
The system uses timber beams with comb interlocking, made with numerically controlled machinery to guarantee perfect joints between orthogonal elements. The beams can be in GL24 spruce glulam or LVL microlaminated timber.
Assembly is extremely simple thanks to the lightness of the materials. The modules allow quick and intuitive construction of residential structures that do not neglect the aesthetic aspect.
Inside the structure there are openings for routing hydraulic and electrical systems, which allow complete inspection at any time.
Depending on the filling materials, insulation and thicknesses, the highest residential energy standards can be achieved. The structure is fully dismountable, recyclable and sustainable.
