We rethought materials to develop a safer and more sustainable solution, capable of replacing traditional resins while maintaining the same performance:
Identification of alternative thermoplastic materials (PET and polycarbonate) to replace urea-formaldehyde, reducing formaldehyde emissions.
Use of fully recycled and in turn recyclable polymers, in line with the principles of circular economy.
Industrial validation through injection moulding of prototypes with performance characteristics comparable to products currently on the market.
Eclipse develops recycled thermoplastic materials to replace formaldehyde-based resins, making industrial production safer and more circular.
